Durham Museum of Life & Science Needs Volunteers with Disbilities
If you have never been to the Museum of Life & Science in Durham, it is a fantasic place. As part of their efforts to be accessible to all, the Museum has chosen to be part of a national study on accessibility. They will have evaluators visiting the Museum in February and March 2011 to help plan for inclusive design. They are looking for ADULT MEMBERS with visual, hearing, physical and/or learning impairments who would be available to meet with the evaluators and tour the Museum. If you are interested, please contact Shawntel Landavazo at (919) 220-5429 x373 or email Shawntell@ncmls.org. Great opportunity to help!
